Function :Catalyzes the condensation of iminoaspartate with dihydroxyacetone phosphate to form quinolinate. Can complement nadA-deficient E.coli mutant. Participates also in cysteine desulfurization mediated by NFS2. Can activate the cysteine desulfurase activity of NFS2 in vitro.
